To help members receive the care they need during the COVID‑19 pandemic, AmeriHealth New Jersey will continue to waive prior authorization requirements for COVID‑19 inpatient admissions through whichever comes first: June 30, 2021, or the end of the federal public health emergency, which is currently scheduled for July 20, 2021.
